We parked in the National Trust car park, and headed up and along the Edge. Between the trees, there were fine views towards Wales to the north/west, and England to the south/east.

Interesting things in hedges…

We walked along to Presthope, and then dropped down off the edge to Hughley.

After lunch we walked across the fields along the side of Hughley Brook – we could see the meanders, but the brook was hidden in the trees.

We walked back up through the woods to the top of the Edge, and back to the car park for a cup of tea.
We had a little wander round Much Wenlock (it didn’t take long!)

Being members of Cadw, it would have been rude not to inspect the Priory – and have an ice cream while we were there.

Home for minty lamb burgers, from the butchers shop yesterday – they were delicious!
