2026-09-18 Montgomery Canal

We parked in Berriew below the aqueduct, and walked through the village and across the fields & woods towards Brithdir. We made good time, and decided to go on up to Belan.

Berriew is the home of the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture. Small but filled with amazingly flamboyant things, we were given a guided tour by a friend of his.

We even got to sit on a throne & wear one of the crowns

We had a quick drink in the pub, then home for some cleaning & packing, and lamb steaks for supper.
